Hanoi, Vietnam Matching Program In Vietnam - VTJ EDU.JSC Full time

The main duties of the Teacher will include but not be limited to the following:
**1. Teaching related tasks**:
To cover classes when required.
To prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials for class instruction and activities, managing information on the Learning Management System.
Adapt teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
To establish classroom expectations, observing and evaluating student performance, behavior, social development, and health.
To complete homework preparation and grading along with gradebook and homework tracker completion.
To prepare for and be responsible for all aspects student assessment, including writing the midterm and final exams, continuous assessment tasks and student reports.
To prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
To confer with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and to address behavioral or academic issues.
To prepare for and be responsible for parent meetings, parent support and parent communication if and when required.

**2. Non
- teaching related tasks**:
To coordinate with other departments with regard to Schools plan to implement extracurricular activities and school events as directed.
To attend professional development sessions/teachers meetings organized by school.
To participate in the development of materials and resources accessible to teachers to promote School student learning.
To participate in all aspects of School student assessment format and procedures.
To promote educational change and improvement with regards to course book and curriculum changes.
To liaise with management with regard to offering suggestions for curriculum development and improvement.
To continuously promote and support student learning and create a positive ethos for the school.
To participate and help manage our placement / entrance / scholarship test system for students.
To undertake relevant tasks in relation to Demo classes/admission workshops as required. (Teaching Demo classes, participating in parent workshop etc.)
To perform miscellaneous professional duties as assigned by the international deputy principal.
- Qualifications and Experience:
Be a native English speaker or a non-native English speaker who can demonstrate a native level of English ability in writing and speaking.
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young students.
Be able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to School.
Be able to demonstrate effective communication, professional standards and ethical behavior.
Be prepared to enthusiastically take part in all aspects of school life, including becoming involved in school events and participating in extracurricular activities.
