**Job description**:
**ABOUT THE JOB**:
We are seeking a dedicated **IT Helpdesk** that will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving user issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. This role focuses on delivering high-quality helpdesk and user support while maintaining IT systems and infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Log, track, and manage incidents and requests using the ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to relevant teams and ensure follow-up until resolution.
- Perform onboarding and offboarding IT tasks, including account creation, hardware setup, and access management.
- Monitor and maintain office IT systems, including LAN/WAN networks and servers.\
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and backups to ensure system reliability.
- Support the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Proven experience in an IT helpdesk or user support role.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and IP configurations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT documentation practices.
