**Job description**
To manage the Financials of the legal entity in line with the Inter IKEA growth agenda and sustained long-term profitability. Lead the Accounting & Reporting to secure an efficient finance operation for the local wholesale entity. Provide timely, accurate, relevant, and comparable financial information and Reports to secure compliance to INTER IKEA Guidelines and local financial rules & standards.

Key assignments including:
Financial accounting:

- Responsible for overall accounting and tax compliance to local regulations and Inter IKEA rules and guidelines, including accounting chapters of Inter IKEA Financial Manual. Ensure compliance with latest accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for Monthly closing (Inter IKEA reporting/ SAP) and IIG Group reporting.
- Responsible for statutory audit, provide and prepare the necessary information for audit purposes, follow-up on audit findings and recommendations.
- Responsible for cash flow management; maintaining monthly one year rolling cash-flow and 3 years cash-flow forecast. Secure sufficient fund for the operation.
- Liaise with external financial institution to ensure timely fulfilment of the legal unit commitment and negotiate best rate for foreign currency payments.
- Compliance to global and IKEA Supply (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (ISMY) financial manual: escalate to Chief Financial Officer immediately if found adequate policies, working methods and internal controls are NOT in placed. Ensure 4 eyes principle are applied in all areas.
- During pre-operation stage, at any time, will support reporting manager in different projects to study and implement automation in accounting process and controls as synergy learning.

**Taxation**
- Responsible for Corporate Income Tax computation in compliance to law and regulation, manage tax provision and compliance process. Ensure optimum utilization of approved tax incentives and capital allowances
- Facilitate and review company tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms. Ensure timely settlement of tax payable/installments and follow up with tax refund.
- Responsible for timely and accurate Indirect tax submission, payments and reconciliation against financial statement (SST. Withholding tax, custom duties etc)
- Responsible for deferred tax calculation and provision for IIG reporting and in compliance to the local tax rule.
- Co-ordinate statutory tax audit (if relevant)

**People & Culture**:

- Lead and develop the accounting team in accordance with “Leading business & people together”, ensure team competence meet current and future business needs.
- Act as an ambassador of IKEA values.

**Qualification**
Below qualifications are important to be successful in this role:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance. A reputable Chartered Accountant qualification is a plus.
- Vietnamese Chief Accountant Certification
- At least 8 years’ experience in accounting and/or auditing, with knowledge in IFRS, as a financial controller or managing the accounting function.
- Experience in coordinating financial budget processes.
- Deep knowledge of local financial regulations and legislation (Statutory, legal, taxation)
- Good in organizing tasks and willing to take responsibility.
- Strong in communication, time management skills, proactive and self-motivated person
- Eager to work in a global environment and to accept and take advantage of diversity
- Fluently in both Vietnamese and English languague
