**Main Responsibilities**:
Accounting Operations:

- Supervise, perform, and ensure the efficiency of day-to-day accounting operations, including billing, bank transactions, and payment vouchers review.
- Perform monthly bookkeeping closing, overseeing accountants' work and approving general journal entries.
- Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Reconciliations) and providing various analyses for management review.
- Ensure timely submission of periodic reports related to taxation (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCWT, audited financial statement, and other taxes) and statutory compliance.
- Control budget versus actual expenses, ensuring the company operates within the approved budget.
- Collaborate with audit agency to complete the annual audit report by the given deadline.
- Implement accounting and financial policies, accounting software, and internal control procedures to comply with statutory and corporate requirements.
- Provide accounting data to management as required.
- Organize and securely file accounting documents (soft and hard copies).
- Review and approve various contracts with vendors, business partners, and other related parties.
- Obtain financial reports of other company from a government website and can-do financial analysis for determining credit limit.
- Credit limit and terms setup for B2B customers.

Training:

- Propose annual staff plan and conduct initial interviews to hire accounting staff.
- Manage, train, and develop accounting staff to ensure competent fulfillment of their responsibilities.
- Implement approved finance and accounting policies and guidelines.
- Update team members on new legal and accounting regulations.
- Provide orientation and training to new staff based on their roles (contract review process, payment policy, etc.).

Management (preference):

- Recommend solutions to improve current accounting activities and procedures.
- Collaborate with other managers to review and build up the accounting process.
- Support the implementation of reports related to expense control.
- Forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow, presenting recommendations to the high-level management team for decision-making.
- Draft slides for quarterly board meetings.
- Manage the budget preparation process and prepare the annual budget.
- Oversee the accounting and legal works of offshore companies.
- Perform other finance and accounting tasks assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
- Support Managing Director with special projects and workflow process improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Chief Accountant certification.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting as a Chief Accountant with 3+ years of proven experience in team management and training in international companies.
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Finance or Accounting-related major.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills (TOEIC: 850+ or IELS 6.0+ is preferable).
- Familiarity with FAST software.
- Thorough knowledge of the latest accounting laws and procedures.
- Adaptability to change and flexibility in working environments.
- Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, confidence, and integrity.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, management, analytical thinking, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership ability to guide and inspire the team.
- Willing to accept new opportunities and having adoptability for Japanese based work environment.
