(Lead) Senior Data Scientist

As a Lead/Senior Data Scientist for AutoML Platform Development, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing our automated machine learning system. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of a scalable and robust AutoML platform that empowers our team to efficiently build, deploy, and manage machine learning models. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps) to drive innovation and excellence in our AutoML initiatives.

**What you will do**:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of the AutoML platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security;
- Research and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and techniques for automated feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation;
- Develop metrics and monitoring systems to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the AutoML platform;
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices in machine learning, code quality, and technical leadership;
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AutoML and machine learning technologies, evaluating their applicability to our platform and business needs;
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines in all machine learning models and data processing.

**What you will need**:

- Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science or machine learning role;
- Strong proficiency in machine learning algorithms, data modeling, and statistical analysis;
- Extensive experience with AutoML tools and frameworks (e.g., Google AutoML, H2O, Auto-sklearn);
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch);
- Proficiency in handling and analyzing large datasets, utilizing big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark);
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
