As a Buyer for Electrification business, you will be responsible for analyzing request coming to implement plans for sourcing to reach the business targets to purchase indirect materials and services according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Reporting to Procurement & Logistics Manager, you will be maintaining supplier relationship as well as customer satisfaction, at the same time ensure self-awareness and ensure supplier’s awareness on compliance to corporate Code of Conducts. This position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists
- Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management and executes upon approval
- Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value. Providing relevant market information to have good benchmark for sourcing activities
- Following with operational buyer in Bangalore Hub. Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing
- Supporting supplier contacting when local language communication required to ensure supplier best performance
- Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system when support is required, according to the approved purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business management (advanced skill or education for purchasing specialist is preferred)
- Experience in the field of supplier leadership and supplier maintenance strategies
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures
- Good knowledge of SAP (SAP Ariba advantageous)
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong understanding of processes/systems and methods. Open to changes, innovativ
- Good negotiation skill for Sourcing & Purchasing
- Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken)
