The role will report to the PM. This role will require you to travel to client sites for meetings and will also occasional international travel

**Job Description**:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize and maintain existing backend systems to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Implement best practices in software development, including version control, continuous integration, and agile methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of backend systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in backend development, with at least 3 years specializing in Python and Django.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integration with backend services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.
- Understanding of security best practices in web development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
