Seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, supervise staff, and build client relationships in our Orange County or San Francisco office.

We are a forward-thinking, technology-driven advisory and accounting firm, empowering clients with innovative tools and solutions to address their accounting, tax, and business management needs.

Our Tax Services Group is a brilliant team of tax specialists who ensure accurate and timely tax reporting, minimize or defer tax payments, and develop economical tax strategies.

As a Tax Manager, you will:

  • Review and prepare tax returns for accuracy
  • Research and draft complex tax matters
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities
  • Handle and resolve tax controversies
  • Oversee tax research projects for various clients and industries
  • Manage multiple engagements and teams to meet client deadlines
  • Provide constructive feedback and counsel to team members
  • Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license, JD or Master's in Taxation
  • At least 5 years of experience in tax department of a public accounting firm
  • Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Compensation will vary by location, with a competitive benefits package and bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
