Cannabis Trimmer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cannabis Trimmer to join our team at Canopy Growth's Tiverton location. As a key member of our post-harvest team, you will be responsible for trimming and preparing cannabis for the next stage of processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Trim and prepare cannabis for processing using hand or machine trimming techniques
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure high-quality products
• Perform data entry and record-keeping tasks using MJ Freeway software
• Transfer plants to designated areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Apply labels to individual pots and operate equipment as per standard operating procedures
• Perform data entry and record-keeping tasks using Google Docs and email
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and ensure the washbay remains organized
• Clean grow rooms and dry rooms using a respirator as required
• Run product through machines as prioritized by management
• Perform inspections of other departments as required
• Work a variable schedule of shifts

Requirements

• Solid manual dexterity and ability to stay organized
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and ensure consistency of product
• Willingness to perform varied tasks as required
• Experience in a similar setting or willingness to work in a loud, confined space
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Comfortable with computers and data entry
• Keen attention to detail
• Previous MMAR experience considered an asset
