About the Job

LaunchDarkly is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing Team. Reporting to the VP of Content and Communications, this role will be responsible for activating and engaging with our growing community across all key social media channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Create and curate high-quality content that resonates with our developer and engineering leadership audiences.
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in our social media messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform future content and engagement strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
About You

We're looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who is passionate about social media and community engagement. If you have a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies, we want to hear from you

Key qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience in a social media role, preferably in a developer-focused tech company.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective features.
  • Excellent content creation and curation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
