Director of Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to join our Vulnerability Management product development team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering highly reliable, scalable, and maintainable SaaS products in cloud ecosystems.

• Lead the development of our core product, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery, growth, and innovation.
• Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent, and provide leadership to help the team operate at its maximum potential.
• Experience in managing SaaS commercial products in large distributed environments, with a track record of measuring maturity and performance data-driven.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define product strategy, combining industry experience with product and customer knowledge.
• Predictably deliver quality engineering releases, taking ownership and pride in the work.
• Promote and shape the culture of the engineering organization.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years of demonstrated success as a Director of Engineering.
• Prior experience leading teams for enterprise commercial SaaS products, with a strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams to produce high-quality software with velocity.
• Proven record of distributed system architecture at large, with experience leading engineering teams in containerized distributed systems environments.
• Background in Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Elasticsearch, Snowflake or PostgreSQL).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to align cross-functional peers and engineers with the product strategy.
• Ability to attract and hire great software engineers and managers, build high-performance teams, lead and mentor the team, and make them successful.
