About WWF-Viet Nam

Major Function:


The Project Officer reports to Deputy Chief of Party, USAID Biodiversity Conservation and is responsible for supporting implementation and monitoring activities of all Strategic Approaches at the site and provincial level.


Requirement:

  • Graduate degree (Postgraduate preferred) in natural resources management, conservation, biology, forestry, environmental management, or relevant development fields.
  • More than 5 years working experience in biodiversity conservation, natural resources management or forestry in Vietnam.
  • Experience with capacity building and natural resources governance.
  • Experience working with forestry sector or management boards of specialuse forest and protection forest is an advantage.
  • Identifies and aligns with the core values of the WWF organization: Courage, Collaboration, Respect & Integrity.
  • Adheres to WWF's values, which are: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging.
