The Account Manager will be accountable for managing relationships with assigned new and existing partners, mobilizing support staff to help maintain and strengthen account relationships, and growing the business while also resolving issues as they arise.
This position is responsible for executing go-to-market plans and business development strategies to develop partnerships with non-bank partners (i.e e-commerce websites, consumer finance companies, fast-moving consumer goods companies, wellness service providers, etc )
- Develop suitable business strategies to establish new partnership distribution channels for Prudential, specialized in the segments of Digital Ecosystem (fintech, ecommerce, FMCG, insurtech, etc )
- Assess business opportunities from potential partners and develop partnership strategies to attract partners' resources and collaboration
- Collect and analyze data on the personas of partners' customers (purchasing habits, geographical locations, demography) to come up with the suitable products and partnership distribution models
- Conduct Due Diligence and risk assessment of potential partners to ensure they are eligible and align with Prudential's business quality governance standards and risk management framework
- Evaluate and review the partnership's business performance on a regular basis to implement appropriate initiatives and schemes to improve/accelerate performance if any
- Prepare and compile business performance reports, research papers, case studies, presentations slide upon request
- Plan and develop the Gotomarket plan for each account
- Plan partnership development projects and coordinate among relevant parties (partner, local authorities, government bodies, internal departments, etc ) to achieve projects' deliverables
- Develop partnership models and monitor relevant initiatives to improve Prudential's business efficiencies, gain new customers, and promote the company's image
- Evaluate the service received by partner's customers then give feedback to the customer service team about any necessary improvements
- Create partnership proposal to acquire potential partners
- Design partnership proposals including business models, remuneration package, product proposition, sales projection, marketing and communication, and operational procedures
- Provide consultation on the planning and starting of any new partnerships
- Review and evaluate any nearexpired distribution agreements together with relevant departments to update on Terms & Conditions, operational procedures, and requirements for Board of Directors' approval to extend/or exit the partnership
- Ensure smooth and timely execution of partnership campaign by coordinate with other teams to validate information of requirements
- Do pre & post site check when a campaign lives to avoid errors or bad user experience.
- Conduct comparative market research about partnership trends in the insurance industry, new product development, or innovative business development ideas, and other customer behavior research
