Responsibilities:

  • Participate in deployment activities for airports in Hanoi
- perform site surveys, interface with local technical personnel, and perform installation activities. Also assist in other critical projects at other airports within Asia Pacific region and travel to other sites if and when necessary,

  • Adhere to installation instructions and guidelines and use industry best practices in order to deliver the best quality service. Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and problem solutions in accordance with System Delivery guidelines and instructions where provided
  • Provide best practices for day to day operations, performance analysis, tuning and capacity planning for products deployed and suggest and implement performance improvements when necessary.
  • Proactively detect problems, report and escalate the problems to next level of support when they can't be resolved in timely manner. Interface with onsite maintenance personnel, provide 3rd level supports where needed in order to meet the Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Experience requirements:

Windows Servers:

  • Design, planning, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Windows Server Family, both virtual and physical.
  • Windows Server Family builds: installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects
  • Strong technical experience with industry standard x86_X64 server hardware, including disk storage subsystems, RAID, SAN, Brocade Switches, and networking hardware strongly desired.
  • Server hardware configuration and installation with equipment by manufacturers such as HP, Dell, IBM

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Windows Security software and implementation: Microsoft WSUS
  • Antivirus software, preferably McAfee and McAfee ePO
  • Working with enterprise server platforms (HP, Cisco, and Dell), airport system
  • Symantec Backup Exec and tape libraries, and Intelligent Disaster Recovery (IDR)
  • Data Replication/Mirroring and High availability solutions software such as EMC Autostart and RAC
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard Local (LAN) and Wide Area network (WAN) protocols and communication methods,
  • Network hardware/software such as Layer 2 and 3 switching/routing, Cisco IOS, IP address provisioning/sub netting, VLAN allocation and management
  • Wireless hardware configuration and installation with equipment by manufacturers such as Cisco
  • ISO processes, Technical writing skills, Troubleshooting methodologies
  • Familiarity with PCI/DSS and other security standards such as ISO 2700
  • Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DFSR, DHCP, IIS, Cluster Server, NLB
  • Imaging software like Ghost and Acronis
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.

Education requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related technical degree.
  • Worked at least 5 years as a system engineer at an Enterprise IT company or managed services organization
  • Fluent spoken in English required for liaising within Region.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA
  • Microsoft MCITP Enterprise or MCSE

Qualifications:
