Responsibilities:

  • Part of the Technical Team and reports to the Technical Manager and the Civil Works Design Manager
  • In charge of coordinating, reviewing and developing architectural design (technical design/construction design/shop drawings)

Coordination

  • Conduct meetings with the design subcontractors and manage the design submission works
  • Liase with internal teams to integrate construction method, materials, processes etc. in the architectural, MEP, and civil design

Review of design documents

  • Review the Civil Guide Lines produced by the Process and Mechanical Team
  • Ensure they have the necesary information to produce the civil works design (civil, structural, architectural disciplines)
  • Review the deliverables produced by the design subcontractors
  • Ensure they are in line with the standards, specifications and other applicable requirements
  • Write comments on the deliverables for the design subcontractor's answers and amendments
  • Coordinate the interaction with the Employer and their consultants about the design works.
  • Review construction design methods

Production

  • Produce the architectural design, details, calculation, and materials specification if required

Follow-up

  • Ensure deliverables are submitted and updated on time
  • Produce document followup and register comments log

Interface with other departments:

  • Construction, quality and procurement departments: methods, materials specification, subcontractors

Experience requirements:

  • At least 5 years
  • Proficient with architectural design, details, calculation, and materials specification
  • Proficient with Vietnamese regulations, standard and international codes
  • Masters AutoCAD and MS Office and expericence with Navisworks and Revit
  • Experience with construction design/shop drawings and wastewater/water treatment plant is a plus

Education requirements:

  • Background in Architectural and MEP systems.
  • Grade I Architectural Design for Buildings
  • Fluent level in English (written, read, spoken)
  • Good knowledge of relevant technical vocabulary
