About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Developer to join our team at Dion. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications on the SAP BTP using various programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript.
  • Integrate SAP BTP services with various systems (both SAP and non-SAP) using RESTful APIs, OData, and SOAP.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Employ DevOps tools and practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, including version control with Git.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations to ensure effective communication and delivery.
  • Ensure post-go-live support, helping to maintain and enhance the solutions after deployment.
  • Deliver high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of development experience, with 3+ years in SAP BTP. Experience with SAP ABAP development and Fiori applications is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in computer science or related fields).
  • SAP BTP-related certifications are preferred.
  • Good English communication skills for international collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP, including SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and the ABAP environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of cloud computing, particularly with Cloud Foundry.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks, such as SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, especially in the context of SAP HANA and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Ability to integrate SAP BTP services with other systems, both SAP and non-SAP, using technologies like RESTful APIs, OData, and SOAP.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) in SAP BTP environments, including tools like Git.
  • Understanding of security best practices in SAP BTP development, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms like XSUAA, OAuth, and JWT.
