A exciting role for a Senior Solution Architect, based in Ho Chi Minh and in the financial industry

Job Purpose
The job holder designs and selects technology solutions to meet actual business needs. They participate in the construction of system architecture, ensuring architectural standards align with business and development requirements.

Key Accountabilities
Solution Architecture:

  • Review and enhance proposals for technology solutions, addressing current architectural constraints and planning for future improvements.
  • Promote engineering best practices, such as testdriven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
  • Ensure solutions are designed in alignment with Technology's roadmap and strategic direction

Customer-centric

  • Responsible for making customercentric decisions that significantly enhance the utility and usability of systems to meet user needs.

Project Management

  • Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to maintain peak operational performance.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to resolve personnel issues and project obstacles, conducting root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices and ensure maximum productivity

People Management

  • Attract, onboard, and retain the right talent for a highperforming team.
  • Communicate team and individual KRAs/KPIs, goals, action plans, expectations, and results to team members.
  • Manage team performance and provide regular feedback, following the annual performance management cycle.
  • Facilitate team members' professional and personal development through capability assessments, training, coaching, and feedback.
  • Motivate and recognize team members' contributions toward the team's shared goals.
  • Develop talent within the team.
  • Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at the subfunction level.
  • Understand and communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology

Work Experience

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience working on software development projects, including a minimum of 3 years as a practicing software engineer and at least 5 years as a solution architect, with extensive experience in highlevel engineering resolution activities and at least 4 years in a management position.
  • Proficiency in Javabased development.
  • Experience and insights into the latest technology trends, including AI/ML, IoT, RPA, Edge Computing, Blockchain, and AR/VR.
  • Significant experience in infrastructure, environments, and deployment strategies/technologies to drive efficient work methods and DevSecOps.
  • Expertise in making architectural decisions at both the product and team levels.
  • Experience working on projects spanning multiple journeys and groups.
  • Indepth experience in Agile software development with a firm grasp of Agile principles, practices, and Scrum methodology.
  • Experience working in Agile teams to support successful digital transformation projects, including participation in endtoend planning for implementation
