About the role


The Platform Engineering Team at SMG - Real Estate is responsible for providing both the tools our development teams use to manage the lifecycle of our product and the experience of using them.


  • Work with our engineers to understand the challenges they face and how to improve their experience.
  • Leverage your own knowledge to help understand how to deliver the best frontend development platform and tooling, improving the productivity and satisfaction of our teams.
  • Help define processes, frameworks and best practices for frontend development.
  • Implement the frontend of internal facing solutions used by our engineers.

Qualifications:

Must-have's

  • Strong English communication skills
  • 2+ years of Typescript
  • Experience with frontend development and frameworks like Vue and/or React
  • Experience implementing frontend tests
  • You want to work helping engineers to be more productive and have the best possible experience at work

Nice-to-have's

  • Backend / full stack
  • Worked previously in the areas of Developer Experience or Platform Engineering
  • Familiarity with AWS and integrating frontends with AWS Lambda
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions and implementing pipelines to deploy frontends
