POSITION PURPOSE


The Exams Officer is responsible for the examination process to ensure that all examinations are conducted in accordance with university regulations.

The Exams Officer must ensure that rigorous quality-checking is taken including but not limited to:

  • All data recorded is accurate and reliable
  • Relevant procedures are followed in accordance with national legislation, audit requirements and University policies.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Deal with examination and presentation administration tasks for all programs at the University
  • Organise procedures for the filing of examination documents.
  • Manage assessment deadlines, keep information up to date and inform any changes to relevant parties
  • Perform data entry, verify information and handle requests regarding assessment grids.
  • Prepare related documents and information for Examination Boards
  • Perform qualitychecking tasks
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Line manager.
