About this role

About our team

Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate, clean, and analyze data from various sources using Databricks tools and frameworks
  • Provide detailed data insights
  • Collaborate with other data scientists, data engineers, and domain experts on crossfunctional projects using Databricks Workspaces
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and trends in data science and Databricks technologies

Qualifications
Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics with a strong history of successful projects and indepth knowledge of industry best practices
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and other programming languages for data analysis and manipulation
  • Familiarity with Databricks products and services
  • Have working knowledge of CI/CD
  • Effective communication, documentation, and whiteboarding skills
  • Creative, curious, and problemsolving mindset

Additional Information
Strongly Preferred

  • Databricks certifications
  • Experience working with Apache Spark to process largescale distributed datasets
  • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud ecosystem (Azure, AWS, or GCP); Azure is preferred
  • Knowledge in LLM use cases such as RAG
  • Experience working with a geographically distributed and crossfunctional team including systems integrators and thirdparty companies
