In this role, you'll focus on utilizing data science to gain insights into user behavior and identifying ways to enhance user satisfaction through data-driven techniques.


What you will be responsible for:
  • Creating recommendation systems to enhance User Engagement on Zalo. Each model and logic enhancement undergoes thorough testing via an A/B Testing Framework to ensure substantial improvements.
  • Collaborating with Mobile Development and Backend Development teams to ensure the reliability of your Data Science solutions. Crafting a robust model is challenging, but building a scalable model for 100 million Zalo users is an even greater task. Your approach should blend scientific thinking with engineering skills.
  • Partnering with the Product Owner to pinpoint opportunities where Data can enhance User Engagement and Experience on Zalo. If you have innovative ideas, here's your chance to bring them to life.
  • Conducting analyses to comprehend user behaviors and extract actionable insights for current and future data-centric innovations. This may involve various techniques like user profiling, graph analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Continuously monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing model performance to detect any drifts in model, feature, or concept.
  • Contributing to enhancing core Data components (Models, Libraries, Feature Store) to boost productivity and streamline processes.

What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field;
  • Proficiency in Hadoop programming environments (e.g., Spark) and Deep Learning Frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
  • Experience working with substantial volumes of real data, preferably involved in constructing and maintaining scalable data pipelines;
  • Familiarity with applied statistics, including sampling methods, causal modeling, and data mining techniques;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to tell stories using data, such as conveying data science concepts and analysis findings to diverse audiences;
