Get to know the Role

  • Evaluates suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
  • Required to liaise, closely monitor and follow up with all purchasing activities including delivery schedules, to meet the required date.
  • Conducts product pricing analysis from time to time and actively participate in pricing negotiations with vendors.
  • Handles and manages the Procurement process with professionalism.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of procurement process such as sourcing supplier, ordering, planning & coordinating in any procurement activities, specialized in Indirect sourcing
  • Sourcing qualified vendors, vendor selection and evaluation, manage vendors' performance and vendor development for long term partnership
  • Drive cost efficiency and cashflow improvement, cost analysis, understand market intelligence for negotiation to capture the most cost effectiveness
  • Buildup, maintain and ensure the efficient Prefer Supplier List coverage for the key spending; conduct Supplier relationship management sessions, ensure Contract management is on track
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance buyersupplier power
  • Timely update Procurement policy changes/revamps; thorough understand and be able to advise, provide solutions for the business users properly
  • Manage ePR, vendor registration review and approval process in system
  • Assist in Procurement reporting, compiling spend analysis, proactively recommend streamlining the Procurement activities for the categories in charge
  • Other adhoc duties assigned from time to time

The Must-Haves

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management discipline, or relevant studies.
  • 35 years experience in Marketing, Technology, Professional Services, and Indirect sourcing. Strong knowledge of the industry and regulatory standards.
  • Extensive commercial negotiation skills, project management, and experience to drive cost reduction.
  • Supplier Performance Management skills
  • Basic Project Management capabilities to support endtoend the Source to Contract and Procure to Pay steps
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external parties.
  • Strong computer skills and English, experience in ePR systems.
  • Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possesses initiative, resourceful, and proactive attitude.
