The global organization consists of teams including Structured; Specialty; Flow; Collateral, Documentation and Insurance; and Risk and Control. Transformation and Simplification and Continuous Improvement teams drive multi-year strategic programs across t he organization.

Wholesale Lending Services Structured APAC provides end-to-end loan operations support for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and Commercial Banking across APAC.

These businesses require a high-touch approach on complex, syndicated, multinational and multicurrency deals.

You will be joining the Credit Products Delivery (CPD)

Vietnam team which is part of WLS Structured APAC comprising of 3 other core functional teams:

Traditional Credit Product Delivery Middle Office (TCPMO), Loan Agency & Trading Middle Office and Asia Loan Operations (ALO) Singapore.

CPD is a d edicated lending & trade finance execution support function with the ultimate goal of providing a superior client experience ensuring timely client focused service whilst retaining a strong risk and control framework locally and par tnershi p with regional and global teams to deliver consistently across CIB & CB.

You will support the Bankers and Trade Sales and works closely with business partners across Credit, Legal, Compliance and line of business operations to deliver a client focused support model and seamless execution.


Responsibilities:

  • You will partner with and support business partners across Global Corporate Bank, Commercial Bank, Credit, Product, Legal and line of business operations
  • You will work on the endtoend transaction execution process across support teams ranging from front office (including Credit Risk, Bankers, Sales) to back office (including Documentation, Collateral and core transaction processing teams) providing leadership, transparency and accountability
  • Delivery of bestinclass credit documentation processes including managing the preparation, negotiation and execution of credit/ product agreements, deal closing process, ownership of sourcing and reviewing client constitutional documents and conditions precedent
  • Manage controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution, including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiations
  • Work with Business and Technology partners in setting priorities within the competing business strategies
  • Work across functional areas to ensure all operational, financial and technology risks have been addressed
  • Actively contribute to Wholesale Lending Services Structured APAC projects & initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years' experience in either Credit and Transaction Management, Credit Execution, Front Office, Credit or Legal documentation space.
  • Strong credit and documentation knowledge across core lending products/agreements (e.g. Loans, Trade finance, specific local market knowledge where required)
  • Strong relationship management and partnership with the Business, Technology and Corporate groups
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong decisionmaking capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution
  • Proactive/selfstarter with the ability to deliver valueadded support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese to support clients
  • Basic knowledge of the lending regulations in Vietnam
  • Knowledge of APLMA/LMA documentation is preferred & advantageous
