The Project:

  • The Vietnam Tuberculosis Analytic Platform (VTAP) is a project funded by the Global Fund (TGF) under the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP)

VTAP was created to:

Offer a single analytical platform that integrates all key TB data sources in Vietnam; Generate intuitive analytics that meet Vietnam's National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) high priority information needs; Improve TB data quality; and Institute change management practices that would enhance the data sharing across divisions within NTP for better planning for TB case finding.

In the first phase of VTAP, Zenysis integrated case finding data sources.

Phase 2, which is set to commence in February 2023, will focus on the integration of VITIMES (the main TB data system used by NTP), laboratory data, and the development of use cases such as: Monitoring the admission of TB patients in near real-time; Monitoring TB patients' journey through the cascade of care; Monitoring the performance of laboratories; Managing the performance of implementing partners and health facilities; and Enabling automated, live monitoring of data quality Surfacing potential TB outbreaks Improving active case finding and targeted testing strategies.


  • Zenysis will work with incountry partners to establish a virtuous 'cycle' that harnesses the granular data in VTAP and technical support efforts to build and continuously strengthen a culture of data use for decision
- making and improved change management practices.

The Role:

  • Zenysis is currently seeking a Tuberculosis Technical Advisor (TTA) to support its project team in the implementation and delivery of the Vietnam Analytics Platform (VTAP) for the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) in Vietnam. The TTA will work closely with Zenysis' Vietnam Country Team and project stakeholders in the implementation of the platform, development of use cases, visuals and analytics as well as supporting the adoption of the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive assistance in analyzing, packaging and timely communicating insights relevant to decision makers needs and/or decision points;
  • Support the project team in conducting data use workshops to share insights, craft and/or share recommendations for actions to improve TB program implementation and management;
  • Support the development of information products to advocate for and/or facilitate datadriven decision making (i.e. TB annual reports, bulletins, newsletters, infographics, policy briefs etc. in addition to dashboards developed in the platform);
  • Document and share data use learnings to promote broader adoption of data for decision making.
  • Support the development of data use activities such as analytical training, dashboard development and user workflow definition, identification and mentorship of data champions and the analysis of usage metrics.
  • Assist in the identification of potential TB technical partners and mechanisms to implement country programs.
  • Assist the VTAP delivery team to strengthen the coordination and implementation of VTAP project including the development of TB related visuals and dashboards.
