Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
  • Lead and drive supply chains team to support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Work closely with operation leader to achieve operational objectives in cost, quality, delivery and inventory turnover
  • Provide guidance on import/export freight classification, Harmonization Coding, Country of Origin, import tariff management and compliance
  • Develop and design transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
  • Responsible for transportation analysis and transportation savings/cost opportunity analysis
  • Lead and improve distribution & logistics practices and network optimization including distribution center management and transportation management to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Design or implement plant warehousing strategies and warehousing operations for finished goods
  • Oversee outbound activities related to order-filling, stock replenishment, shipping.
  • Administer overall warehouse management, productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention programs to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Direct the buying activities for the company including identifying global sources of materials, selecting suppliers, arranging contracts, and managing relationships
  • Develop or implement procedures/systems to evaluate supplier performance or select suppliers to ensure quality and delivery requirements
  • Drive cost reduction efforts by utilizing negotiation techniques, resourcing and other cost analysis procurement tools
  • Initiate, direct and manage S.O.I.P team to improve inventory turnover, reduce waste, and optimize customer services.
  • Direct and facilitate the quality assurance team to achieve the company quality strategy
Administration

  • Monitor all supply chain operations/activities to ensure IT complies with the company policies, regulations and procedures
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to Plant Director
  • Track the supply chain performance to ensure all KPIs will meet the targets

  • University graduate in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, MBA is preferred.
  • Extensive in all functions of SCM field, including planning, sourcing, costing, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and quality assurance, ability to lead crossfunctionalally; quick decisionmaking; and strong judgment ability.
