Outline of Responsibilities

  • Assist IP Attorney and team on IP prosecution matters.
  • Prepare draft advice and documents for filing.
  • Manage diary and follow up with clients.
  • Conversant in both English and Vietnamese languages to be able to translate documents.
  • Contact and communicate with local authorities when necessary.
  • Manage and update internal IP database.
Other duties as appropriately assigned.

Technical Skills

  • Legal qualification (diploma or law degree)
  • Experience in IP law and practice preferred but not essential;
  • 2 + year legal experience in a law firm.
  • Good English skills
  • Good legal research skills.
  • Good organization skills and attentive to detail.
  • Good drafting and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft word, power point and excel.
  • Good interpersonal skill, crosscultural sensitivity and a team player.
LL.M. from reputable overseas university, a plus
