Data Analytics Engineer

Job Description
– Connecting to & Leveraging Core Data: Perform queries, connections, and data extraction periodically or on demand from the bank's critical core systems such as Core Banking, Core Card, CRM, etc. (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server platform systems). Work with technical teams to understand data structures and ensure secure and efficient data access. Building & Optimizing the Data Pipeline: – Design, build, and optimize data processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) to collect, clean (data cleansing), normalize, and integrate data from multiple fragmented sources. Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of data throughout the processing process. – Operates On a Modern Data Platform Managed and operated on the Data Lakehouse platform, ensuring data is stored, processed efficiently, securely, and scalably. Candidates with experience deploying or working on the Microsoft Fabric platform are especially preferred. – Preparing Data For Analysis & Visualization Design and build optimal data models and aggregated data tables, ready for analysis. Prepare clean, reliable, and high-performance datasets for the Business Analyst team and Management to use on BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau. – Collaboration & Support Collaborate closely with business departments (Sales, Risk, Finance) to understand data requirements and ensure that the data provided meets the analysis objectives. Develop technical documentation, data processing procedures, and maintain a data dictionary/catalog. Requirements For Candidates Graduated from university with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position (Data Engineer, BI Developer, Technical Data Analyst). Proficient in SQL, with experience writing complex queries to handle large volumes of data. Experience working with Oracle database management system (PL/SQL) is especially required. Possess a solid understanding of the concepts of Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Lakehouse. Experience using at least one programming language for data processing such as Python (Pandas, PySpark libraries) or R. Strong logical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility for data quality. PRIORITY REQUEST (MAJOR ADVANTAGE) TOP PRIORITY : Candidates with practical experience deploying or working on the Microsoft Fabric platform. Experience working with popular ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms such as Azure (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics), AWS, or GCP. Experienced with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Understanding banking operations, products, processes, and data within Core Banking and Core Card systems is a significant advantage. Benefits Received

Salary:
