QC Automation Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Control to join our growing business in Ho Chi Minh office. Reporting directly to the Test Lead, this role offers an excellent opportunity to support the business and to enhance its testing capabilities. The duties will consist of Manual Testing, automation development using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Playwright, and AI-assisted testing to improve test coverage and efficiency. As part of this role, the Quality Control will work closely with a variety of different stakeholders, across the business, for project and BAU deliverables. The Quality Control is responsible for developing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data for applications to ensure fitness for purpose and compliance with requirements and designs. Responsibilities
• Review requirements, plan and estimate testing activities, and create comprehensive test cases.
• Design and execute effective tests, report results, and run production smoke tests after deployments.
• Develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot automated tests using ServiceNow ATF and Playwright for regression and end-to-end testing.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to support test-case design, test-data preparation, automation development, defect analysis, and test documentation, validating AI-generated outputs for accuracy and protecting confidential data.
• Support full-stack quality practices across the delivery lifecycle, and analyse escaped defects to identify root causes and capture lessons learned.
• Manage testing tasks, deadlines, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate UAT progress, communications, and sign-off, and contribute to Agile ceremonies and project discussions.
• Demonstrate new features, prepare release notes for key updates, and collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. Required Skills
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow, with at least 3 years of experience in quality control or a related role.
• Motivated to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in FAT/UAT, the testing lifecycle, Agile delivery, root cause analysis, release management, and project coordination, with a strong commitment to product quality.
• Understanding of risk-based testing principles and how testing is prioritised based on business impact and likelihood of failure.
• Ability to design, build, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot ServiceNow ATF tests and Playwright automation, including reusable test components, reliable locators and assertions, test-data management, test-suite structure, scheduled execution, integration, and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI and end-to-end testing, and JavaScript and/or TypeScript scripting skills, are required to support automation.
• Practical knowledge of AI-assisted testing and full-stack quality engineering, including using AI tools to improve test design, test-data preparation, automation, defect analysis, documentation, and team productivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-generated outputs and use AI responsibly in line with data confidentiality requirements.
