About the Role
We are looking for an experienced NPI Engineer to support the introduction of new UAV engine products from R&D into mass production. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure a smooth transition of newly developed UAV engines into production.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the NPI process for new UAV engine development projects from prototype to mass production.
- Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Testing, and Manufacturing teams throughout product development.
- Develop and manage NPI schedules, milestones, and production readiness activities.
- Coordinate engineering builds, prototype builds, pilot runs, and production validation.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Testability (DFT) reviews.
- Identify manufacturing risks and implement corrective actions before production ramp-up.
- Establish manufacturing processes, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
- Work with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure component readiness and qualification.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and field issues.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and product change implementation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Experience
- Experience in NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, or related roles.
- Experience supporting new product introduction from development to mass production.
- Experience working with electro-mechanical products, engines, UAVs, aerospace systems, robotics, or automotive products is highly preferred.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams. Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production ramp-up.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP methodologies.
- Familiarity with BOM management, ECO processes, and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA is a plus.
- Knowledge of UAV propulsion systems, internal combustion engines, hybrid engines, or aerospace products is highly desirable. Soft Skills

- Experience in UAV, aerospace, aviation, automotive, or defense industries.

- Experience working with international suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- PMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certification is a plus. Key Success Metrics
