Javascript Developer Intern

About the Role
No. of position: 2 Training duration: 10 weeks We are looking for a JavaScript Intern who will be trained ServiceNow, a global cloud platform, to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain industry experience and potentially a full time / permanent position if successful. The role will involve shadowing and the successful candidate will benefit from tutorials and mentoring from the development team. Please note: ServiceNow is a low-code platform, so the role focuses more on business processes, workflows, and system configuration than traditional coding. Responsibilities
• Shadowing the development team.
• Participating in tutorials and mentoring sessions from the development team.
• Participating in our ServiceNow training program. Qualifications
• IT Students with the below skillsets would be qualified for our training program. Required Skills
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and eagerness to learn through coursework or projects.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Capacity for independent research and problem-solving.
• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to challenges.
• Strong ability to self-study and explore new technologies.
• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of ES6+ syntax and functional programming concepts.
• Proficiency with Promises, Async/Await, and handling API calls.
• Familiarity with Angular and Bootstrap (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of Web Services and REST APIs (preferred but not required).
• Ability to document code, processes, and technical requirements clearly and concisely.
• Effective communication skills in English. Preferred Skills

• You will participate in our ServiceNow training program, and during the course you will be trained about:
• Understanding the ServiceNow platform as a cloud-based software development environment widely used for IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Understanding ITIL principles and how they apply with ServiceNow processes.
• Training on the framework (CSDM) that links IT services to the underlying technical infrastructure.
• Configuring and managing platform settings to support organizational needs as a administrator.
• Best practices for clean code, data quality, and system scalability.
• Writing and optimizing scripts to extend platform functionality.
• Learn how to design and build automation workflows within ServiceNow to streamline repetitive processes, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency across business operations.
• Learning how to connect ServiceNow with external applications and services.
• Learning to design and build scalable services that connect business functions such as HR, IT, and Finance.
• Exploring how AI is applied within ServiceNow to streamline workflows and predict outcomes. What you will achieve
