JOB PURPOSEThe Head of Finance & Accounting will oversee the company's overall accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards. This role is responsible for financial reporting, tax management, cost control, budgeting, and financial planning to support business performance and strategic decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger, and related financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
• Manage group financial consolidation and statutory accounting reports.
• Coordinate annual external audits and work with tax authorities and relevant government agencies. 2. Cost Control & Manufacturing Finance
• Oversee product costing and ensure accurate allocation of materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Monitor cost variances and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to improve manufacturing cost efficiency. 3. Tax Management & Compliance
• Manage tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, CIT, and WHT.
• Handle tax incentives, exemptions, and refund applications.
• Ensure timely submission of tax declarations and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with tax authorities regarding tax inspections and related matters. 4. Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Monitor budget performance against actual results and provide variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions. 5. Team Leadership & Process Improvement
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
• Strengthen accounting systems, internal controls, and financial processes.
• Oversee company registration, business registration amendments, factory registration, and other relevant licensing procedures. REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Accounting Practitioner Certificate is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, including 3+ years in a similar leadership position.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred; candidates from accounting firms are also welcome.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
• Solid experience in manufacturing costing, tax compliance, tax refunds, and financial consolidation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
