Role Description

  • Draft, manage, and update risk policy documents within the company to ensure compliance with legal regulations and the State Bank of Vietnam, align with approved risk appetite, and adapt to business activities in each period.
  • Assess and analyze the impact of legal policies on the company's operations, monitor financial market trends, and propose solutions to improve policies, processes, lending products, and post-loan management.
  • Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of additional control checkpoints for products, regulations, and operational processes that introduce risk factors; provide periodic and on-demand risk management reports to the relevant authorities.
  • Act as the focal point for reviewing internal documents of the company, as well as documents drafted by other departments, including but not limited to product development, appraisal, operations, debt collection, risk management, compliance, legal, and financial planning.
  • Conduct training sessions on credit risk management for the organization.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Banking.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, appraisal and approval, internal control, internal audit, or equivalent roles in credit, cards, or retail banking.
  • Strong knowledge of the State Bank of Vietnam's regulations, financial industry rules, and credit risk management frameworks.
  • Proficiency in system management and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of consumer financial services, products, sales models, risk processes, and financial operations.
