Job Summary

As a
Business Development Manager (EU & US)
, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities, identifying potential clients, and promoting BSS Commerce's software development and outsourcing services. You will lead market research, develop sales strategies, build strong relationships, and prepare compelling proposals to support our global sales operations.

This role demands
strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a target-driven mindset
. Knowledge of
European languages
such as French, Spanish, or German is a plus.

Key Responsibilities1. Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Identify and research potential clients in both EU and US markets.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities.

2. Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets in the EU and US regions.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align market entry and expansion plans with company objectives.

3. Client Engagement

  • Initiate and nurture contact with potential clients via email, calls, and networking platforms.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and product demos to showcase BSS Commerce's services and expertise.

4. Sales Material & Proposal Preparation

  • Prepare customized proposals, case studies, and presentations for client meetings.
  • Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to ensure materials accurately represent our capabilities.

5. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during the initial stages of the sales process.

6. Communication & Reporting

  • Communicate effectively in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is an advantage for EU clients.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipelines, and results using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular performance and progress updates to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience
    in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in
    IT outsourcing or software development
    .
  • Strong understanding of both
    EU and US business cultures
    and market dynamics.
  • Excellent
    communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    in English.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong
    organizational and time management
    abilities.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office
    and
    CRM tools
    (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Multilingual ability (French, Spanish, or German) is a strong plus.
