SmartDev ) offers tailor-made mobile apps and websites with the most popular frontend and back-end technologies. We are currently work with about 300 developers and with 2 offices in Danang City and Hanoi Capital.

As part of SmartDev's aggressive growth plan we are looking to expand our development team.

The role will report to the CEO. This role will require you to travel to client sites for meetings and will also occasional international travel.

Job Description

The Chief Commercial Officer is responsible for day-to-day management of the sales and business development efforts of the company as well as overseeing the end to end engagement maintain client satisfaction. This includes identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets and working closely with COO and the rest of the senior management team to insure smooth and efficient delivery. CCO will also make a significant individual contribution closing deals with selected strategically important clients. Additionally, the CCO will work closely with the rest of the senior management team to develop and execute the company's overall business strategy, including sales and marketing schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the global commercial strategy across multiple regions (UK, EU, Middle East, APAC, and Vietnam).
  • Directly manage an international sales team, including:
    • Senior Sales Experts based in the UK, EU, APAC, and Vietnam.
    • Regional business development and customer success teams.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for both existing services and new solutions aligned with SmartDev's AI-enabled vision.
  • Set revenue targets, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous performance improvement.
  • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances that support growth and market expansion.
  • Represent SmartDev at international conferences, industry events, and client meetings to build brand awareness and unlock business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, CFO and Delivery teams to align commercial strategies with technology and delivery capabilities.
  • Mentor and grow the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a C-level or senior commercial role, preferably within the tech, software, or IT outsourcing industry.
  • Strong track record in international sales and strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with experience handling multicultural teams.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Excellent communication in English (French is a plus).
  • Familiarity with emerging technology trends, including AI and digital transformation.
