The Role

As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our user interface and

experience. We're not just looking for a developer; we're looking for a product-aware engineer

who can take a concept and bring it to life. Your experience bootstrapping applications means

you know how to build from a blank canvas, make smart architectural decisions, and rapidly

iterate. You will have unparalleled ownership over the frontend, from technology choices to final

implementation, and your work will be the first thing our users see and touch.

What You'll Do

• Build from Scratch: Lead the development of our user-facing applications from the
• ground up using
• Own the Frontend: Take complete ownership of the frontend codebase, architecture,
• and user experience.
• Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Quickly translate designs and product requirements into
• high-fidelity, functional prototypes and production-ready features.
• Leverage UI Kits: Utilize popular UI component libraries (such as Material-UI,
• Shadcn/ui, Ant Design, Chakra UI, etc.) to accelerate development while maintaining a
• high standard for design and usability.
• Performance & Quality: Implement and maintain high standards for web performance,
• accessibility, and responsiveness across all devices.
• Collaborate Deeply: Work in a tight-knit loop with backend engineers, designers, and
• the founding team to ensure a seamless and cohesive product.
• Shape the Product: Act as a key voice in the product development process, providing
• essential feedback from a technical and user-experience perspective.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of
• projects.
• Proven freelance experience or a history of bootstrapping applications from
• concept to deployment.
  You must be comfortable and thrive in a "zero-to-one" product
• development environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in
  
  and the React ecosystem.
• Deep experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Demonstrable experience using
  popular UI kits and component libraries
  to build
• clean, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces.
• A strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management patterns (e.g.,
• Context, Zustand, Redux), and API integration (REST, GraphQL).
• A self-starter attitude with a powerful sense of ownership and the ability to work
• autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• An eye for UI/UX design and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library,
• Cypress).
• Familiarity with backend technologies, enabling a better understanding of the full stack.
• Experience working in an early-stage, venture-backed startup.
