Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of customer and R&D team requirements and consulting for new test system.
  • Support in calculation of customer and R&D team development testing projects
  • Plan for equipment and manpower utilization to meet testing indices
  • Support production team and customer to run new test system (Initial operation and verification of the new test system)
  • Communication with the customer & Sub-project management
  • Facilitate continuous improvement on process simplification, labor productivity and cost reduction for testing.
  • Work closely with Engineers to ensure a smooth and successful introduction of new products to manufacturing
  • Manage the growth of subordinates, identify, and retain key talent
  • Supervise a group of manufacturing testing operators and technicians in daily routines to meet departmental goals
  • Project controlling (cost, timeline)
  • Documentation for all phases of projects (requirements, design specifications, verification, etc.)
  • Any other duties as and when required by Engineering Services Manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience in EMS, Electronics Manufactory (min. 3 years) in the industrial field
  • Results-oriented, flexibility and traveling availability
  • Passionate customer focus
  • Team player
  • Comprehensive electronics knowledge in different fields (analog and digital circuits, embedded systems, Arduino, NI LabVIEW…)
  • Advanced knowledge in schematic design
  • Knowledge of product development processes
  • (Basic) experience in firmware driver development
  • Knowledge of electronics measuring and test equipment
  • Knowing English is an advantage
  • Engineering degree in electronics [BSc]
  • Knowledge of conformity testing (CE, UL, FDA, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in one of the following industries: medical, consumer, automotive is a plus
  • Knowledge of Safety Standards such as IPC 610
