Key responsibilities:

  • Create compelling 2D animations for characters, symbols, UI effects, transitions, and in-game events.
  • Collaborate with Game Designers, Concept Artists, and UI Artists to ensure visual consistency and alignment with gameplay mechanics.
  • Optimize animations for performance across various platforms (mobile, web, desktop).
  • Integrate animations into game engines (e.g., Cocos) and test them in context.
  • Take feedback constructively and iterate to improve visual and motion quality.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience as an Animator in the gaming industry.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality game animations, especially for slot/casino game elements.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Spine, After Effects, Photoshop.
  • Solid understanding of timing, weight, easing, and principles of animation.
  • Experience working in production pipelines for mobile or online games.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
