About The Job
The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to analyze, design, and optimize rail systems while ensuring technical coordination across subsystems such as power supply, track, signaling, communications, MEP, and rolling stock. Key responsibilities include verifying technical documents, guiding system integration, managing risks, and addressing issues to minimize project delays. The position also requires preparing comprehensive documentation, generating reports, and supporting project managers and stakeholders with updates on engineering progress and coordination challenges.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to analyze, design and optimize rail systems, including but not limited to Power Supply, Catenary (or 3rd Rail), Track, Signaling, Communications, MEP, Rolling Stock.
• Participate in technical document verification and provide guidance on system integration processes.
• Work closely with project managers, railway experts, and other stakeholders to deliver technical documents.
• Ensure technical coordination between the subsystems teams and provide expertise.
• Identify potential risks related to system engineering and develop mitigation plans.
• Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to design requirements and decisions.
• Generate reports for project management and stakeholders on system engineering progress and coordination challenges.

Experience and Education

Education
Engineering bachelor's degree

Experience
6+ years' experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of systems design, integration, and testing processes.

Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, SysML) and engineering software.

Experience with hardware and software development life cycles, including requirements gathering and management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.

Language Requirements
Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.
