Role Overview

The Project Leader – Data Analytics will oversee the end-to-end management of data-driven projects, ensuring timely delivery, optimal quality, and alignment with business goals. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. You will act as a bridge between clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of milestones.

• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and developers.

• Assign responsibilities, set expectations, and foster a culture of collaboration.

• Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve roadblocks.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.

• Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders through reports and presentations.

• Collaborate with business users to identify key performance metrics and analytics opportunities.

Technical Expertise

• Oversee the design and implementation of data analytics solutions, leveraging tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Power BI, and others.

• Ensure the integrity, security, and scalability of data solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure best practices in ETL, data modeling, and dashboard design.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and AI.

• Identify areas of improvement in project delivery processes and implement changes for efficiency.

• Contribute to the development of TC Data's methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or related projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory).

• Proven track record of managing data analytics projects from concept to completion.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or PMP.

• Experience in industries like manufacturing, finance, consumer goods, or retail.

• Familiarity with advanced analytics and AI tools such as Python, R, or Machine Learning frameworks.
