Physical & Health Education: MYP
to join our fantastic team.

The school is seeking an exceptional Middle Years Programme (MYP) Physical & Health Education (PHE) Teacher to inspire students in Grades The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated PHE specialist committed to holistic student development, who thrives in an internationally minded, collaborative environment.

As an MYP PHE Teacher, they will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, engaging, and inquiry-driven curriculum that embodies the spirit of the MYP, fostering physical literacy, healthy lifestyles, and interpersonal skills.. This includes planning, preparing, and delivering engaging PHE lessons for Grades 6-10, ensuring alignment with MYP subject requirements. The teacher will implement a range of authentic assessment tasks, collaborating closely with other members of the PHE team, including the standardization of student work. The PHE department also seeks to integrate concepts and promote interdisciplinary learning. We all engage in ongoing professional development, particularly in relation to the IB philosophy and MYP practices.

The right candidate would be willing to contribute to the school's vibrant co-curricular program by coaching or leading other after-school activities and serving as a dedicated advisor to a group of students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Student Assessment
