About the Role
Inventec
, part of the Dehon Group, is looking for a
driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer
to strengthen our presence in Vietnam.
You'll play a key role in
developing the Vietnamese market
, managing client relationships, and expanding our reach in sectors such as
semiconductors, industrial chemicals, data centers, and automotive
.
This position is ideal for a
motivated "hunter" profile
who enjoys being on the road, meeting clients, and building business opportunities from the ground up. You'll spend around
70% of your time visiting customers
once trained, supported by our experienced
APAC team
based across Malaysia, Singapore, and other regions.

Key Responsibilities
Market & Customer Development
- Develop the Vietnamese market by identifying and engaging new customers and prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to support long-term growth.
- Collect and share market intelligence on trends, competitors, and opportunities.
Sales Execution & Negotiation
- Actively hunt for new business through visits, calls, and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms) within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with Sales Administration and Logistics for smooth order processing.
Technical & Customer Support
- Provide customers with basic technical support and product guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Technical, R&D, and Customer Service in Malaysia) to address inquiries and troubleshooting needs.
- Attend product trials, demonstrations, and exhibitions across APAC.
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts and contribute to the overall regional strategy.
- Maintain CRM data (Salesforce) and report regularly on market activities, progress, and performance.
- Support quarterly APAC sales meetings and collaborate with regional colleagues.
Training & Support
- 3 to 6 months structured onboarding:
- 2 months of field shadowing
- 1 week of training in Malaysia
- Ongoing mentorship from
your direct Manager
and the
APAC Team
(12 people). - Participation in quarterly regional sales meetings and cross-country collaboration across APAC.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
(or similar technical background). - 3 years minimum of experience
in sales or technical support, ideally in
semiconductors, industrial chemicals, or similar sectors
. - Strong "hunter" mindset – proactive, autonomous, and commercially driven.
- Fluent in
English, Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce
. - Willingness to travel extensively
across Vietnam and the APAC region. - Valid
driving licence
.
