Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 2-4 years of experience in Golang and to join our growing engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services for our eCommerce platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless integration with frontend systems.

Responsibilities

● Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Golang and

● Design and implement RESTful APIs to support eCommerce functionalities such as inventory management, order processing, and payment integration.

● Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

● Optimize backend systems for speed, scalability, and reliability in an eCommerce environment.

● Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensure robust application performance.

● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards.

● Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and provide constructive feedback.

● Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to implement new features aligned with business goals.

● Implement security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive eCommerce data.

● Stay updated with the latest Golang and advancements to enhance development processes.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

● 2-4 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Golang and

● Proven experience in the eCommerce domain, with knowledge of eCommerce workflows

(e.g., inventory, orders, payments).

● Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and their optimization.

● Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools

(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across cross-functional

teams.

Preferred Skills

● Experience with microservices architecture.

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

● Understanding of eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce or

WooCommerce.

● Knowledge of caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ).
