The Representative Office Manager will lead and oversee our Representative Office in Vietnam. This role is responsible for ensuring legal compliance, managing supplier and partner relationships, and acting as the main bridge between the Vietnam office and our head office. The Manager will support sourcing, quality control, and coordination with factories to strengthen our supply chain in Vietnam's growing furniture industry.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS & OBJECTIVES

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Representative Office.
  • Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese laws, regulations, and government reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Assist head office with supplier evaluation, sourcing initiatives, and product development support.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and sourcing updates to head office.
  • Support quality assurance and production follow-up with factories, coordinating with HQ teams.
  • Represent the company's interests in Vietnam, maintaining professionalism and brand standards.
  • Manage office administration, budget, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead and support local staff, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in furniture, home décor, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of Vietnam's manufacturing and furniture export sector.
  • Solid understanding of the North American furniture market — including consumer preferences, design trends, and quality expectations.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and oversee production processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with headquarters.
