About the Opportunity

On behalf of our international client - an international logistics organization with nearly two centuries of global presence - we are seeking a Logistic Accountant to support their finance and accounting operations in Vietnam. The company is recognized for its long-standing reputation in maritime and logistics services and remains committed to integrity, reliability, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will manage accounting activities for Integrated Logistics, Tank Chemicals, and Logistics products. You will ensure accurate financial processing, regulatory compliance, and timely internal and principal reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and process invoices, expenses, and payment requests.
  • Prepare orders of payment and submit for approval.
  • Verify vessel and logistics documents for completeness and compliance with Vietnamese regulations.
  • Follow up on revenue and collections; prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Ensure accounting documents comply with internal policies and tax regulations.
  • Update and reconcile bank reports and accounting books (AR, AP, GL).
  • Prepare monthly profit reports, SOA reports, and other internal submissions.
  • Verify and input revenue, direct and indirect costs into the accounting system.
  • Maintain accurate filing and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment and collection issues.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Finance/Accounting Managers.

Job Requirements

Technical skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; logistics/freight forwarding experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations.

Soft skills:

  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance mindset.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and willing to learn
