  1. Costing Planning & Process Management (10%)

  2. Develop costing schedules and manage the costing workflow to ensure completion within critical path dates.

  3. Cost Validation & Negotiation (30%)

  4. Review and validate cost breakdowns for assigned material categories.

  5. Negotiate material prices with suppliers based on cost analysis.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in material costing.

  7. Apply material knowledge and costing tools to meet target costs and margins.

  8. Collaboration & Cost Optimization (30%)

  9. Partner with Development, Material teams, and suppliers to propose cost-saving solutions.

  10. Conduct "should-cost" analysis for new materials and support teams in meeting cost targets.

  11. Cost Analysis & Reporting (20%)

  12. Perform accurate and timely cost analyses and reports.

  13. Maintain seasonal price history records for tracking and future reference.

  14. Issue Resolution & Margin Achievement (20%)

  15. Identify and escalate costing concerns to management for solution alignment.

  16. Apply knowledge of footwear, materials, and manufacturing processes to achieve target margins.

  17. Vendor Relationship Management (10%)

  18. Build and maintain strong working relationships with material vendors to secure competitive costing and ensure consistent costing practices.

*** Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.

*** Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in material costing or footwear product costing.

*** Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, honest, collaborative, and strong team player.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • English good communication skill
