Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary 
Software Development Manager
 to lead our dynamic development team. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership, ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Your contributions will drive excellence in software development and help position our organization as a leader in the Fintech IoT industry.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Leadership and Team Development:

• Define and communicate a strategic vision for software development teams, emphasizing Fintech IoT innovations.
• Mentor team members, promoting skill enhancement and professional growth.
• Recruit and develop top talent, creating a cohesive and high-performing team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Project and Resource Management:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle—from initial planning to final delivery—ensuring timeliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and project outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, addressing potential delays and technical challenges.
• Manage and identify good software outsource/design houses.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Partner with key stakeholders to align development initiatives with business objectives and evolving industry trends.
• Foster clear communication across internal teams and with external partners.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Hardware teams to deliver secure, integrated solutions.

Technical and Process Excellence:

• Implement and advocate best practices in software development, such as agile methodologies, IoT-specific protocols, and CI/CD practices.
• Promote code quality, testing standards, and continuous optimization of development processes.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in IoT and Fintech, leveraging insights to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Performance and Alignment:

• Regularly evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and support to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure team efforts align with organizational goals and product roadmaps, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term priorities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, managing software development teams in a fast-paced, product-driven IT environment.
• Strong foundation in engineering best practices, system architecture, and software design.
• Proven expertise in managing and delivering large-scale, complex software projects.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++), cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and modern development frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional software products.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team environment.
• Background in working within a product-focused company, especially with multiple product teams, is a significant advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
