Job description
  • We are looking for a Senior/Leader Spring Boot Developer with deep experience in designing and developing large-scale backend systems using Spring Boot (Kotlin or Java).
  • You will be involved in analyzing requirements, designing system architecture, building and optimizing critical systems to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
  • Working hours: From 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM), Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday off).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design architecture, processing flows, and core modules for large-scale backend systems.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot (Kotlin/Java).
  • Work closely with frontend, mobile, DevOps and QA teams to ensure product quality.
  • Participate in code review, provide technical direction, and support other team members.
  • Propose and apply new technical solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
Your skills and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with Spring Boot (Java or Kotlin).
  • Experience in deploying and operating large systems (high traffic, distributed system, high availability).
  • Strong knowledge in system architecture design, design patterns, RESTful API, and clean code principles.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). NoSQL experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and source control tools.
  • Ability to self-research, analyze, and solve complex technical problems.
Plus:
  • Experience with microservices architecture, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker.
  • Experience leading technical teams or holding Technical Leader responsibilities.
  • Knowledge in logistics systems, supply chain operations, or order management systems.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, Kafka or other message queues.
  • Experience working with Japanese clients is a plus.
