Performance Test Engineer

• Assist in the design and execution of performance test plans.
• Execute load, stress, and scalability tests
• Support in analysing test results and provide actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.
• Write and develop Test User Journeys into Testing Tools.
• Collate and document testing requirements.
• Support in installing and managing the configuration of Performance Testing Tools.
• Contribute to designing Test Scenarios to meet documented test requirements.
• Prepare Test Data to support test requirements.
• Collect and report on Test Outcomes, including metrics and Status reports.

General requirements:

• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Familiar with the Agile development methodologies.
• Methodical and detail-oriented, with solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Strong dedication to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing.

Technical requirements:

• Experience in performance testing and tuning
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML, RegEx, Groovy, Beanshell, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of performance profiling tools and analysis tools; ELK or Splunk experience is a plus
• Familiarity with performance tests in a multi-tiered and microservice architecture
• Good experience with performance testing tools (e.g., NeoLoad, JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Good experience in creating scripts and executing load tests using NeoLoad / LoadRunner / JMeter according to the requirements
• Familiarity with monitoring systems such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, and the ELK Stack
• Hands-on experience in testing APIs / Webservices using SoapUI / Postman
