Role Description:

Teaching responsibilities: Deliver undergraduate-level courses in one or more of the following areas:

  • Group 1 – Programming:
    C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Web, Mobile, Game Development, Databases, Database Management Systems, Software Engineering, Software Deployment.
  • Group 2 – Computer Science:
    Data Structures and Algorithms, Discrete Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Mining, Cloud Computing.
  • Group 3 – Computer Networks:
    Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Cloud Systems, Information Security.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Conduct scientific research in accordance with university regulations.
  • Participate in curriculum design and syllabus development.
  • Advise and mentor students; supervise theses or projects.
  • Participate in examinations, grading, and other academic duties.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives such as student recruitment, outreach, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, software development, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in conducting research and publishing in academic journals.
  • Ability to design, deliver, and assess engaging course materials and lectures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for academic collaboration and mentorship.
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital teaching methods is an advantage.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in coordinating or participating in innovative research or entrepreneurship projects is a plus.
