Who We're Looking For

At Nanyang Biologics, we owe our success to the efficiency and synergy of our organisational processes. We are seeking a highly organised, business-minded, and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, HR functions, and cross-departmental coordination across our offices in Vietnam and Singapore.

This person will lead the Operations team, drive administrative excellence, and ensure that all internal processes align with company objectives. The ideal candidate will be an adaptable problem-solver with strong leadership skills, a good understanding of biotech and tech environments, and the ability to build an efficient, transparent, and compliant operational framework.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

2. Oversee daily operations, procurement, logistics, and office management.

3. Supervise and mentor the Operations Assistant, ensuring adherence to operational KPIs.
4. Improve existing processes and implement new systems to optimise administrative workflow.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Tech, R&D, Finance, and HR) to align operational support with strategic goals.
6. Ensure timely and accurate management of vendor contracts, purchasing, and service delivery.
7. Conduct budget reviews and track operating expenses to support financial efficiency.

8. Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations.

9. Strategic & Cross-functional Leadership

10. Collaborate closely with senior management to execute company-wide strategies.

11. Collect and analyse operational data to monitor KPIs, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance productivity.
12. Oversee internal communication channels and ensure secure, centralised information flow.

13. Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and leadership team on operations performance, budgets, and risks.

14. Other General Administration tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Operations Management, HR Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven success in operations or HR management, preferably in biotech, tech, or fast-paced start-up environments.
• Strong skills in budget development, financial oversight, and resource planning.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively, manage multiple teams, and maintain operational control.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, business communication tools (Slack, Trello), and HR systems.
• Solid understanding of compliance requirements and internal audit processes.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and capacity to work under minimal supervision.
• Professional fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
